History repeats itself and it is same for fashion! Indian fashion is as old as human civilization. It is mixer of of regional, historical and cultural influences. Today's generation is so much influenced by world of fashion that it is as much important as food, water and shelter. It is not just about what you are wearing, it's about the changing and evolving of fashion trends around the globe.   Fashion during-    1970's:  During this time suits into three pieces came into trend. It was the beginning of the Bollywood and that time fashion was much more influenced by it. Jacket especially leather, flares trousers, butterfly collars were the style of that time.   Ancient fashion of  India - India is a country full of diversity. Indian fashion is as ancient as the human civilization. It is known for its cultural heritage, elegance and colorfulness. Indians are fashionable since Harappan era and Indus valley civilization. India was the one of the first places where cotton as cultivated and used during the Harappan era. Ancient women fashion was to wear knee- length skirts and jewelry like earrings, bangles and necklaces. Thick bangles above the the elbow and narrower ones below.
