 Ancient fashion of India -

India is a country full of diversity. Indian fashion is as ancient as the human civilization. It is known for its cultural heritage, elegance and colorfulness. Indians are fashionable since Harappan era and Indus valley civilization. India was the one of the first places where cotton as cultivated and used during the Harappan era.

Ancient women fashion was to wear knee- length skirts and jewelry like earrings, bangles and necklaces. Thick bangles above the the elbow and narrower ones below. Gold and Silver were valued equally but detailed pieces were preferred.
